It all started when we won a hackathon, Solana Medellin Hackathon 2024 - an amazing weekend full of experiences, new knowledge, a lot of Spanish, and new friends.

In two intense days of work, the challenge was to create a viable business model that utilized the capabilities of the Solana blockchain. At the end of the second day, the teams pitched their work.
Our product is called Mootrack, "Where cattle raising meets blockchain” - a cattle raising registry platform and marketplace.

That's how we began building our livestock registry app and subscription platform.
Our goal: a frictionless way for cattle buyers and sellers to connect and trade.

"The global beef market was valued at approximately $332 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach $421 billion by 2028. The broader cattle industry, including dairy, is significantly larger."

And our team is eager to capture it.
